British artist Carina T returns with “Inside Your Mind”.
Carina T is a pop-rock/alternative London-based singer and songwriter. She started singing at the age of 15 in a Rock band in Madeira Island. While at University, Carina was part of a folk music band where she was one of the lead singers and played ukulele.
After working as a researcher in Boston, United States, and also in London, Carina realised she could not live without music. In 2017 Carina started recording her own songs, and began with the release of “Too Real” as her debut single. She follows this with “Inside Your Mind”.
Carina tells us: “People are nowadays not willing to express their true feelings, as they are afraid of becoming vulnerable. Also, because of pressure by the mainstream media, people are sometimes too focused on the physical side of relationships and do not care about what matters the most: feelings and being human and kind (basically, what’s inside our minds). This song criticises the overrated physical side of superficial relationships.
Carina says her influences are wide and varied and include Florence & the Machine, Pink, Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Jeff Buckley, R.E.M., The Cranberries, Skunk Anansie, U2, Oasis, Manic Street Preachers, Radiohead, Suede, The Verve, The Killers, Radiohead, Muse, and Placebo, to name but a few!
