Swedish pop artist and producer Eva-Lina has dropped the soundtrack to your summer romance with the release of her second single “You So Cool”. Co-written and produced with Nick Tsang and inspired by artists such as Tove Lo and Charlie Puth, “You So Cool” was set for the biggest names in pop but this attitude packed banger was to ‘cool’ for Eva-Lina to let go of. It may have been written for someone else but this track is about feeling yourself…
“I don’t sing this about anyone, I sing it to myself, to everyone. It’s message of empowerment because it is ‘so cool’ when you to have the confidence to take charge and have fun” says Eva-Lina, a pop artist and producer from Sweden with an in your face attitude that is instantly recognisable in her R’n’B infused beats and infectious melodies.
Shortlisted in the Isle of Wight Festival New Blood Competition and fresh from a headline set at Moth Club Eva-Lina is one to watch. Brought up singing in church and fed a steady diet of rock music by her older brother, Eva-Lina has a wide range of musical influences also including P!nk and Gwen Stefani. Known for her captivating stage presence, since leaving her day job as a builder and moving to London, Eva has performed at festivals such as The Great Escape, North Atlantic Flux and Frimley Lodge Live.
