This was released on Netflix when I had just fractured my knee so let’s say I was a very captive audience since I was stuck on the sofa for days.
I watched it all in 2 days and I really enjoyed it and highly recommend!
Renee Zellwegger is almost unrecognizable in the lead role and she plays it so, so well! I kept referring to her as a bad-ass Bridget!
THE SONGS
The song featured in the trailer is ‘Rival’ by Ruelle and sets the scene for the show perfectly. Twisted, lies, deception and manipulation abound!
There’s not a lot of upbeat songs, they’re all more grand and theatrical and very moody – a perfect fit!
