John Floreani releases “Before The Devil Knows I’m Dead”.
John Floreani is the lead singer of Australian punk-rock band Trophy Eyes. The group formed in 2013 and have released three studio albums, two EP’s and a number of singles. But in between projects and tours, John has pursued a solo career and this week has released his brand new single, the stunning “Before The Devil Knows I’m Dead”, co-written by John and Shane Edwards.
“Before The Devil Knows I’m Dead” is his fifth solo release since his debut solo EP “Terrace” in 2014 and follow on from “Oh Brother” released earlier this year. John portrays his solo projects as “The acoustic Emo project of John Floreani (Trophy Eyes) – drawing inspiration from the stylistic sensibilities of Daniel Johnson, Owen and Right Away, Great Captain! and Little Brother, is an exploration of love, loss and heartache”.
“Before The Devil Knows I’m Dead” together with “Oh Brother” and the previously released track “Echoes” will all be included on John’s debut album “Sin”, which is released this Friday (7th June). You can pre-order the album from John’s website and his Facebook page. John will also be touring throughout June to promote the album in Australia, The United Kingdom and America. Details of shows can also be gained from John’s website.
