This is “Madness” by the ‘dark pop songstress’ Mafalda!
Mafalda is a singer-songwriter who is originally from the UK and Spain, and began writing music at 16. She has since developed her signature rich, soulful voice and songwriting skills into one of the industry’s most interesting new talents.
“Madness” is the third track to be taken from her debut EP “Daisy Chain”, out now on all music streaming platforms. PAPER Magazine have, perhaps wrily, yet accurately described her as ‘the dark pop songstress’ while Pigeons And Planes have noted that she has ‘a powerful and sophisticated, but still accessible voice’.
For the past year, the London-native has been recording new music with UK and US based producers while playing shows across New York, Boston, London, and Madrid. Mafalda’s second single “Goodbyes” is also featured as the official song of the 2017/18 winter advertising campaign for Springfield, a leading European fashion retailer.
