It’s All About You!
Here at Talk About Pop Music one of our major frustrations is when artists don’t have details on the ‘About’ page on their Spotify profile!
Why?
If we are listening to a song on Spotify and want to tag it on Facebook post or share it on Twitter, it’s so much easier to go to the artists ‘About’ page and click on the social media links directly from there.
When there are no links it sometimes takes too long to find the Facebook page or Twitter account so we simply have to give up and the artist misses out on a mention.
There’s also a Bio section which allows us to find out more about the artist if we need to write a ‘Fresh‘ feature about them.

As you can see below Clayton has everything updated and has the perfect About page…
The About page also shows how many listeners an artist has had from being featured on our playlists.
We’re currently working with Clayton to help promote him and you can see by adding his song to our ‘Dark‘ playlist has bagged him more listeners – every little helps!
