Cavalcade release “Blueness Is A Heavy Stone”.
Written directly to stress the importance of mental health, the single aims to provide the listener with the message that it’s OK not to be OK. Everyone experiences days shrouded in blueness; but sometimes that load isn’t always as difficult to carry. Lead vocalist and song-writer Connor Duggan of British group Cavalcade has said that their latest single “discusses a topic that is quite rightly at the foreground of a lot of people’s thoughts today. As a group of young men, we felt as though it’s just as important to talk about our experiences while also giving this sense of optimism through both the lyrics and the musicality of the song”.
Cavalcade are an East London four-piece currently creating waves with their version of blistering indie rock and roll. Newly signed to indie label These Bloody Thieves Records and already packing venues inside the capital with their electric live shows, they have proved that the Cavalcade journey is one to watch. With their debut single “Alkaline” being John Kennedy’s ‘X-Posure Hot One’ on Radio X as well as reaching 3,000 streams in it’s first week on Spotify alone – their new single “Blueness Is A Heavy Stone” is just waiting to impress the masses!
