Pop producer and vocalist Hayden McHugh returns with his new bop “Smile”; hitting you with a super fun, tropical track with catchy melodies that Hayden serves effortlessly with his intricate voice. A song about leaving someone for greener pastures, he tells an newly-ex lover to hit the road since someone better has taken their place.
At 23, Hayden McHugh is a pop-force to be reckoned with – he is a producer, songwriter, vocalist and performer from Calgary, who is a “vibrant, exciting, and collected individual, poised to make his presence felt in the ever-evolving [Canadian] arts community”. And while his beats make you want to dance, his smooth and emotive vocals and story-telling lyrics are the reason that Hayden has been turning heads since 2016. Featuring in BassBus’ “LocalEyes” and on LocalDropMag, his single “Alone”, written by Hayden and produced by LOST YOU, has reached over 300,000 streams on Spotify in only two months.

He is also the founder of MusicGivesYYC, a program that works to create opportunities for young kids to pursue a dream in the music industry – they have raised over $2,000 and put on 4 fundraising events in Calgary, and have also collaborated with charities like the United Way in order to raise awareness of the importance of music in education.
