Femme Royale reveals “What I Love About You”!
“What I Love About You” is a song to celebrate love. With great drums, rich synths and catchy tunes the song ended in some retro feel/80´s vibes. With emotional texts, electronic productions and clear melodies that get stuck, songwriter and artist Emmy Åsblom have managed to create something that stands out.
25 year old Emmy from Sweden began her musical journey at the age of six years old playing piano and has since then explored many different genres, from Sleaze Rock to Jazz before she finally turning herself into Femme Royale. In 2014, Åsblom left his hometown in northern Sweden for Stockholm with the goal of focusing fully on music creation.
While studying singing and songwriting in Stockholm, she met the producers Niklas Marklund and Anton Sandgren (SwitchFlickers who worked with Sigrid, Amanda Mair, Martin Mazarov). The three started a collaboration and together wrote Femme Royale´s debut single “How Bad” which was released in May 2018. In connection with this release, she was mentioned on what is called the world’s largest publication for electronic music- Your EDM. The future looks bright for the Stockholm-based artist who has several releases further on.
