Between Giants discuss two people becoming “Strangers”.
Between Giants are a buzzing indie-rock trio from Brooklyn, NY. Comprised of three award-winning Northeast-based singer/producer/multi-instrumentalists Tyler John, Hans Massaquoi, and Pat Williams – the band is just about to break. The three blend their unique styles and influences to craft a sophisticated coalescence of gritty indie-rock that has brought them local and national attention.
Led by Tyler John’s passionate lyrics and iconic performances, their diverse genre-mashing and innovative song writing has seen them be nominated for three Independent Music Awards, receive numerous festival slots, have the capacity to self-orchestrate a nearly sold out 17 city east coast tour within just a year of the projects inception, and clear over 250,000 streams worldwide on their debut album “Jupiter”.
The release of their experimental rock track “November Beaches” began a new chapter for the band, as they turn from their previous infectious summer ready pop soundscape to a more organic, raw and unfiltered approach that saw the track clear 50,000 streams to date. Describing their latest track, “Strangers”, the group tell us: “Very rarely do we write instrumentation before words. But with this one, we wanted to capture the emotion in the production. This track is about loving someone and feeling them slowly slip away”.
