FRESH: 'Hear' - Drakmah

FRESH: ‘Hear’ – Drakmah

Pop Just Got Even More Fresh With Drakmah’s Latest Release

London based pop electronic ensemble, Drakmah’s new track ‘Hear’ grabbed me in its palm and did not let go.

The 4 piece who blend pop with indie electronic have taken influences from Alt-J and Flume, yet have crafted a unique sound of their own.

A showcase of what the U.K has to offer in the pop electronic realm, this track does not disappoint. It kicks off with a soaring synth before being greeted by a rather exquisite vocal from lead singer David.

Boasting a variety of sounds throughout, this new release appears to have something for just about everyone. It oozes passion from the get go with huge bass lines and captivating soundscapes.

It overall gives off a really feel good vibe which would not sit out of place at a summer BBQ or even on a long wintery drive. Although the track does stop mid way through, which was a little confusing, it is not long until we are back to business with Drakmah driving the track through to close.

I cannot find many faults with this release and I am sure it will be on many playlists for several months ahead.
