FRESH: ‘Say Goodbye’ – Craig Irving

Craig Irving wants to “Say Goodbye”

Craig Irving has released his new single “Say Goodbye”. It’s a slice of uplifting modern indie-pop-rock with strong guitar lines and deep synths influenced by contemporary bands such as LANY and 1975 but with a touch of Bruce Springsteen’s anthemic rock. Craig describes the single, his first of 2020, as “a breakup song” but it’s more about the self-love and knowing when to move on.

Craig has previously played in big award-winning, world-touring Scottish folk bands but is now going solo with a debut EP coming in April. Born and raised in the Scottish Highlands, Craig spent his formative year’s lending guitar and vocals to some of Scotland’s top folk acts, culminating in the winning of a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award with the trio Talisk and multiple worldwide tours with six piece Gaelic band Mànran.
