FRESH: ‘Cold’ – Caroline Kole

Caroline Kole blasts with “Cold”

Starstruck Entertaiment singer-songwriter Caroline Kole puts her emotions on blast in her new song “Cold”. “Cold”, which was written by Kole and Robyn Dell’Unto, who also produced the track with Sam Martinez, serves as the first taste of what’s to come from Kole in 2020. The song explores relatable themes of letting other people’s words or actions negatively affect your mindset, but having the strength to admit your weaknesses and grow from it.

“I’m growing up, I’m generally a pretty happy and optimistic person but this past year I was faced with a lot of challenges” says Kole on the inspiration behind the song. “I was disappointed in the way I handled myself in them, a lot of self realization came out of those situations”. Last year, the “pop powerhouse” (PopDust) released her EP ”Freaking Out!”. The project featured single “Missing Each Other”, a song that Billboard raved about, saying the “raw and reflective” track “showcases Kole’s airy vocals alongside seductive electronic beats and thumping rhythms”.

Caroline began her career at the age of eight, playing beach bars in her hometown of Clearwater, FL. In her teenage years, Caroline moved to Nashville and began touring internationally with Reba McEntire and playing stadiums and festivals with Blake Shelton among others. She has shared the stage with artists like Why Don’t We, Kim Petras, Lauv and Dan+Shay. Now 22, years of writing and performing have led to an evolution of personality and sound, and the young artist is now releasing colorful pop music that draws influence from Twenty One Pilots, Julia Michaels, Katy Perry, Meghan Trainor and The Killers.
