Peter Jessy teams up with Zach Benson for “Deflated”
US artists Peter Jessy and Zach Benson join forces for a superb new track “Deflated”, a song about slowly falling out of love. It’s not about someone breaking your heart, it’s about someone taking your love away slowly. Giving love without receiving the same is exhausting, and the song explores that feeling.
Peter is a New Brunswick born, Ottawa-based singer-songwriter. Currently working on his debut EP, Jessy is focusing on developing his own indie-pop sound. In writing his music, Jessy draws from his own personal experience with mental illness, the LGBT community, and relationships in hopes that others with similar experiences can take comfort in knowing they aren’t alone. Jessy gained attention when he was featured on the electronic track “They’re Just Ghosts”, produced by Motion Blur. The song has gained over two million streams on Spotify.
Zach is a NYC-based pop musician and producer, who combines hard-hitting, synth-heavy soundscapes with introspective, confessional lyrics. Zach’s two-and-a-half year career has included three EP’s, five singles, an independent charity compilation album called “Power To The Queer Kids”, 75 live performances across eight states, and almost 4,000 followers across platforms.
