Roman Harris wants you to “Come Around”
“Come Around” follows the single “Upon A Lifetime” from Brixton-based singer, songwriter Roman Harris. Influenced by Indie, Folk and R&B, Roman fuses these genres to create heartfelt, honest and touching compositions. Roman Harris is a singer and songwriter from Brixton, South London. With his guitar in hand, a voice of raw emotion and heart on his sleeve he crafts songs of simplicity enriched with depth and feeling.
Roman started in music as a songwriter and worked with acts such as Snakehips and Malika most notably achieving song writing credits on the Snakehips “Money On Me” EP with the track “Falling” released through Sony Music Entertainment. However, It was always his desire to venture into the world of being an artist and develop his own sound. Roman’s beautiful writing style and ability to capture emotion so perfectly are evident in his forth single “Come Around”, a song inspired by a friend’s Leukaemia diagnosis and released in his memory.
Roman tells us: “’Come Around’ is a song very close to my heart. It was written with a suffering friend in mind but is for anyone out there suffering with an illness that cannot be cured and just wanting those that they love to continue being there for them, to continue treating them the same way and to continue coming around. It’s important to be there for those that we care about, especially in their time of need”. How true Roman.
