James Flannigan writes, “Dear Insecurity”
James Flannigan contacted us recently about his new EP, “Honest”, that features the song “Dear Insecurity” and this is what he would like to say: “I wrote this song about feeling insecure and not always feeling like you stack up with everyone else. Insecurity has definitely been something that I have struggled with, especially in music, as there are always doubts as to whether I am good enough, etc., and I really think that those feelings can control your life if you let them. I wrote this song just in an attempt to kind of explore those feelings and gain some insight into my insecurities and hopefully conquer them! All of the songwriting, recording, producing, mastering, balancing, etc. was done in my bedroom in Eugene, Oregon, and all of my music to this point is a complete one-man operation! Hope you like it!”.
