“Part Of Me” evokes 1980’s nostalgia while engaging the listener with a driving rhythm section and dreamy guitars. Wilmington, DE-based quartet The Outright was formed in early 2019. When former members of Cologne began collaborating with Philadelphia singer-songwriter Pat Usher, what resulted is a unique brand of synthwave-inspired pop rock, rooted in 1980s sentimentality. The juxtaposed combination of upbeat melodies and melancholy lyrics styling plants this group firmly into the depths of millennial nostalgia.
