Komosa release “Hold On”
This is the first track from a synthpop project which affectionately harks back to the mid ’80s when synthpop was new and avant-garde and even subversive, influenced by artists such as Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, etc. Komosa has focused on techno and electronica but now is focusing on composing rich, emotional and atmospheric songs with lush synthesiser sounds and an energetic mood.
Remixes and new tracks are coming later in the year and a complete album is in the works and should be completed within the year. Komosa is a UK based project that begun in 2012 and has already seen the tracks “Escapees” and “Tubifexxa” in 2019, the same year as they released the EP, “Industries”. Komosa is Cambridge based and opened with “Three” in 2012.
