Russ Parrish brings us all “Together”
Russ Parrish is an award winning singer/songwriter Nashville native who moved to Minnesota in 2016. Influenced by artists and bands like NEEDTOBREATHE, Andy Grammer, and Ed Sheeran, his desire is to write and play songs to bring people together. Russ has won several awards including the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest, and the Minnesota Sate Fair Amateur Talent Contest.
His music focuses on the journey between faith and doubt, seeking the light of hope wherever darkness is found. His new single, “Together”, is out now and is a must-listen-to! Russ spoke to us recently about the song and where it coems from: “I wrote this song with the idea that everything we do affects one another. It’s a song of hope and encouragement that we can fight to find the answer the world needs. I feel like it is relatable and could be a powerful message for the time we’re in right now with COVID-19”.
