Chris McConville is “Carefree”
‘Carefree Chris’ new single, “Carefree”, follows up on the success of his last single, “Fire”. “Carefree” is a sonic upbeat song, inspired by that feeling of being free from your daily obligations, the feeling of blissin warm summer nights spending time with someone you love and looking forward to it, carefree summer vibes. It’s a further step in the direction of self-production taking his indie and rock influences into the world of electronica with psychedelic touches.
Additional mixing and mastering by Jason Emberton of Eastern Industries. Chris has enjoyed working with Jason again, learning from this talented and experienced mixing engineer, producer and musician over the last few years. Chris is a London based, Scottish solo artist. “Fire” received radio play around the world and as well as many glowing reviews by various music blog sites and multiple Spotify Playlist inclusions. A highlight was being played on Jim Gellatly’s Amazing Radio show!
The remix (Teardrop Implode Remix) by ‘Teardrop’ aka Simon Dawes, took Chris to a new heights. “Fire” was released in tribute to his bandmate, the late Tony Eke of the Blackhill Pioneers.
