Camp pop trio Tight Fit are back in the charts, 40 years after they went to number one with “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”! The most famous line up of Steve Grant, Denise Gyngell and Julie Harris are back together and recording new music having parted ways in 1983.

Tight Fit formed in 1981 and underwent a number of line up changes. Their debut single, “Back To The 60’s – part 1” went top five and even broke the US top 100 sales chart. Part 2 was not so successful but their cover of The Tokens 1961 American number one “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” was and it went all the way to the top in the UK and around the world.

Tight Fit reformed in 2009 and released a brand new album, “Together”, seven years later. They released “Fallout” late last year and now they return with the cheesy new hit, “Holding On To You”, remixed by prolific producers, 7th Heaven.
