Everything But The Girl

THEN & NOW: Everything But The Girl

It’s only taken 24 years, but finally Everything But The Girl have recorded a brand new album, their first since “Temperamental” in 1999! Ben and Tracey have just released the very first single from that album, “Nothing Left To Lose”, which is their first since “Corcovado” in 2002.

Having pursued solo projects, dealt with health scares and also got married in the intervening years, the Everything But The Girl project, which began in 1982, comes up-to-date with a continuation of their slightly left-field sound and highly individual production with the new song that easily follows on from everything that has gone before.

Back in 1993, Ben and Tracey released their cover of Paul Simon’s “The Only Living Boy In New York” as a single, which just missed the UK top 40 and their own original composition “I Didn’t Know I Was Looking For Love”, which later became a hit for Karen Ramirez. Welcome back you two!
