Scottish band Belle And Sebastian release their twelfth studio album, “Late Developers”, today! It is the follow up to 2022’s “A Bit Of Previous” and kicks off with the bright and sparkling new single, “I Don’t Know What You See In Me”, an upbeat Indie-Pop-Dance anthem to shake off those new year blues.
Since arriving on the scene in 1996 with their acclaimed and standard-bearing debut album, “Tigermilk”, the seven-piece band fronted by singer Stuart Murdoch, have rarely been out of the charts or our subconscious with their flavoursome brand of light-hearted and instantly catchy tunes from a succession of Gold certified and top ten albums, of which “A Bit Of Previous” is one of them.
Following a number of EP’s, Belle And Sebastian finally released their first single, “Legal Man”, in 2000 (UK No.15) and followed this with chart hits such as “I’m A Cuckoo” (UK No.14) in 2004 and “Funny Little Frog” (UK No.13) in 2006. “I Don’t Know What You See In Me” is more than deserving of chart hit status as is their brand new album, so give it a listen!
