Irish singer Aimee has just released her brand new single “Hurt Like Hell” together with a spunky video to accompany what she calls “the ultimate break up song”!
Since her 2019 debut with “Don’t Bother”, Amiee has been steadily growing her collection of tracks that included “Nobody Else”, her most recent single in 2022.
Ready to take 2023 by storm, the 27-year-old’s impowering anthem has been co-written and recorded with her dream team consisting of Nick Jarl, Richey McCourt and Swedish icon Joakim Berg. “Hurt Like Hell” see’s Dublin native Aimée truly find her voice and deliver something very special.
Aimée regularly flies between Sweden and LA to write and record new music, and last year saw her play a sold-out headline show at Dublin’s Academy, a debut regional tour, a Late Late Show TV performance and she also signed an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with BDi music.
She is part of the Irish Women in Harmony collective, whose first single “Dreams” received over five million streams on Spotify and made history as the first female act to hold the number one spot on the Official Homegrown Irish Chart. Since then, she has been a champion for Irish women’s voices in an industry dominated by men.
Aimée first came to light on YouTube, where got ¼ million views on her very first video in less than a week! She then built her following on Instagram with her one min Wednesday’s, after which, she then was asked to compete on the X Factor. She was axed just before judges houses as the producers wanted her mother, who was going through cancer treatment at the time, to be interviewed, which Aimée declined. Her mother was a huge influence in her life and sadly passed away five years ago.
