Bisola returns with a statement: “Liar”!

It’s great to hear our good friend Bisola has new music for us at last, as she screams back onto the scene with her defiant new Afro-Pop single, “Liar”!
“Liar” is an energetic and upbeat track about cutting ties with toxic relationships, overcoming abuse, winning the battle of the mind, and dealing with negative self-talk.
By her own admission, the song is “cheeky” but the spiritual undertone sees Bisola juxtaposing dark lyrics with a feel good Afro-Pop production and anthemic chorus that makes this an exciting track people will want to keep listening to on repeat! Coupled with Bisola’s distinctive vocals, this is a powerful comeback having spend a year playing live and regrouping herself for the next chapter.
“Liar” is the lead track from Bisola’s upcoming new EP due to be released later this year. Bisola was the winner of the 2019 International Singer Songwriters Association award for Best International Female Single of the Year for her incredible track “Come Alive” (which we still love!). Her single “Million Miles” achieved the number one spot on a US radio music chart in 2017 while her endering Christmas song “This Christmas” is the track that keeps on giving each and every festive season.
The EP will be her third following “Holding On To The Light” in 2013 and “Lessons My Mama Taught Me” in 2017,and since then we have been blessed with a really solid collection of songs that include 2020’s “Breathe” and 2021’s “Go Massive”. With “Liar”, Bisola is ready to fight back and make herself heard to an ever increasing audience and a world that is becoming spellbound by her irresistible charm, honesty and her ability to write and record just a damn good tune you can’t stop singing to.
