s club these are the days

THEN & NOW: S Club 7/S Club

Twenty years since they last recorded together, five of the seven original members of S Club 7 have regrouped for a brand new song, “These Are The Days”, co-written by S Club regular, the ‘legendary’ Ms. Cathy Dennis! Rachel, Bradley, Jo, Jon and Tina have reunited following the shocking news of Paul Cattermole’s death in April for the new recording and a tour this Autumn across the UK.

S Club 7 formed in 1998 with Rachel, Bradley, Jo, Tina, Jon, Hannah and Paul, and along with a successful TV series, the group enjoyed smash hit singles beginning with “Bring It All Back” in 1999 (UK No.1) and taking in “Never Had A Dream Come True” (2000, UK No.1, US No.10) and “Don’t Stop Movin'” (2001, UK No.1). 2003 saw S Club 7 release their greatest hits album and the double A side single “Say Goodbye”/”Love Ain’t Gonna Wait For You” before calling it a day.

Since then, they have gone their own separate ways with Rachel Stevens enjoying solo success in the 00’s. Hannah Spearritt has moved into acting on both stage and television but declined to return to the reformed, renamed S Club for “These Are The Days”, which also sees the return of S Club 7 writer and producer Simon Ellis, also responsible for songs with the Spice Girls, Britney Spears and Westlife.
