WHERE ARE THEY NOW? Romi and Jazz

Romi and Jazz wanted to reach out to everyone but failed to do so. So what happened?

Romi and Jazz are a real mystery in music circles. Little is know about them, their real names, where they came from and where they went to. They were signed to Chrysalis Records in 1988 and released a cover of The Four Tops’ “Reach Out” (“Reach Out I’ll Be There”) as their debut single, although this failed to do anything at all. That, sadly, was a similar story for all their singles with “People In The House” (also 1988) and “Love Crime” (1989), mixed by 90’s star producer and DJ David Morales, all going the same way.

The duo worked with Stock Aitken Waterman in 1990 in an effort to get a hit and recorded the song “One Love One World”, which would break the UK top 100, peaking at No.98, but that was all and there was no follow up. ‘Romi and Jazz’ called it a day soon after and went their separate ways, presumably. The girls have yet to surface in public after their exploits. Bit like The Reynolds Girls really! Love to hear from you ladies…
