Following the release of his dance anthem “Falling“, our good friend Sam Dickinson returns in 2024 with new music, and he’s looking for some hot stuff baby!

Sam has recorded a ‘reinvented’ version of Disco Queen Donna Summer’s classic, “Hot Stuff“! And he has a new album that’s finally ready for release too!

The “All We Are” hitmaker says of the track: “I began recording my new album last year and I was looking for a special song to cover. I was approached about recording “Hot Stuff” after the producer, Joe Morrison, wanted a powerhouse vocal on the track. So, the challenge was set, record this amazing version of one of my favourite songs, and in the same key as Donna. I finished recording the song and Mark, who records all my vocals, said he’d never heard me sing like that before. I knew we’d done good!”

Following on from the critically acclaimed lockdown album “Off Script“, “Hot Stuff” is the second single to come from “F L E X”, the long-awaited fourth album from Sam which sees the Newcastle native further explore Dance, Pop and Soul music. “F L E X” is due out this Summer. Sam has been played extensively on radio, including the UK’s most listened to radio station, BBC Radio 2, with Graham Norton saying, “he just keeps getting better and better” and Sirius XMin the United States, who described his vocals as a modern Meat Loaf!

Sam’s music has been streamed more than a million times. He has experimented between Soul, Pop and Dance whilst continuing being a staple on one of the UK’s most popular LGBTQI+ radio station, Pride Radio. “F L E X” will be an album with hints of the 80’s, infused with Pop and Dance and Sam will premiere new material from the album at the Alphabetti Theatre in Newcastle on Friday 15th March 2024.
