Matt-Felix debuts with “Leave, Just To Stay”
Indie-Pop
London-based artist Matt-Felix has released his debut single “Leave, Just To Stay”, today. The track is about how sometimes we find ourselves split in two – one half wanting to be brave and make that change, while the other half trembles with fear of the unknown.
“And because I hate this town, you’re never gonna see me round”
An Anglo-French heritage and early youth spent on the island of Bali have helped to inspire Matt-Felix’s eclectic and left field songwriting style which draws on a wide range of influences and moods. His debut single, “Leave, Just To Stay”, is accompanied by a theatrical video shot at the historic Rivoli Ballroom in South East London.
With more music being released in the Spring and several live London shows scheduled for March and April, Matt-Felix is forging his own path ahead in 2024. Is this the future sound of Pop as we know it or something very different and masterful? Only you can decide…
