FRESH: ‘A Place In Your Heart’ – Gabrielle

Gabrielle returns to “A Place In Your Heart”

Pop

It’s now over thirty years since British singer Gabrielle took her debut single to the top of the charts and she’s been solid in releasing material ever since.

Now after a gap of three years, she’s about to release her eighth studio album but just before that, she has revealed the title track and lead single, “A Place In Your Heart”.

The album follows on from 2021’s “Do It Again“, which went top five in the UK becoming her best performing since her 1999 chart topper “Rise”. The new twelve track album comes off the back of her hugely successful 30th anniversary tour of 2023, celebrating three decades of her number one single “Dreams” and her first album, “Find Your Way”.

Since then, Gabrielle has continued to rack up the sales and chart positions with 1996’s “Give Me A Little More Time”, 1999’s “Rise” and 2001’s “Out Of Reach”, which was used in the hit film ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’. Gabrielle’s other credits include the all star chart topper “Perfect Day” in 1997 and her joint collaboration with East 17 on “If You Ever” the year before, which also saw her record and release a stealing cover of Dionne Warwick’s “Walk On By“.

“A Place In Your Heart” the album is released on 10th May and will be available on vinyl and CD as well as digital downloads. Gabrielle will also be promoting the album this Summer with a continued series of dates across the UK and Europe, including the Cambridge Festival in June and Øyafestivalen in Norway in August. All of which proves that this lady is ‘going nowhere’, unlike the title of her 1993 top ten hit!
