The girls from Australian trio Blusher – who released their debut EP “Should We Go Dance?” only last year – are back with their fantastic new single “Rave Angel”!
The track is an energetic, fast moving slice of Electro-Pop/Blusher goodness and is the first taste of new music from Blusher for 2024 and their next exciting phase.
Written off the back of a movie-like night out in LA, fuelled by secret DJ sets from Charli XCX and A.G. Cook, an Uber In-N-Out pitstop and pure determination, “Rave Angel” speaks about the magic of spontaneous nights out with friends. The track has internal Disco vibes against a modern, cool Electro exterior – these girls are on to something!
2023 was a massive year for Blusher, some highlights included being named as one of Spotify’s RADAR artists and showcasing at The Great Escape UK and SXSW Sydney. Blusher supported international artists AURORA and Tove Lo on their national Australian tours, and capped off the year on tour with Icelandic musician Daði Freyr across the UK and Europe.
“Rave Angel” spotlights their next chapter in the aftermath of their outstanding EP “Should We Go Dance?”, which we featured last year, as group members Miranda Ward, Lauren Coutts and Jade Ingvarson-Favretto step out of their native homeland and cause waves to ripple as far as America, the UK and mainland Europe. Yea!
