I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“I’m Into Something Good” by Herman’s Hermits was Number One on 26th September 1964 and stayed there for two weeks.

This is quite possibly one of the happiest songs ever by a really fun band. Anyone who called their band Herman’s Hermits has to be fun, right?
