Eurovision 2015 is almost upon us and now that all the countries have chosen their singers and song let’s give them the once-over.
The Albanian song is called “I’m Alive” and is performed by Elhaida Dani.
This girl won The Voice in Italy and unlike the winners of the previous UK versions of the show she has actually gone on to do something else.
There’s no doubt she does have an incredible voice and the song starts off very mellow with a nice acoustic guitar. After the first few minutes I wasn’t sure if I was still watching her video or an episode of Casualty. But, don’t panic she keeps reassuring us that she is still alive so that’s good.
It’s a nice, powerful performance of an emotional song and I would say it will qualify for the final but not a winner.
