Eurovision 2015 is almost upon us and now that all the countries have chosen their singers and song let’s give them the once-over. The Hungarian
song is called “Wars For Nothing” and is performed by Boggie.
Already a well known performer this girl with the bizarre name gives us her “peace song”. Before listening to it I imagine this will be another ballad…
It is a ballad and is one of the “message songs” but it’s done with an acoustic guitar so that’s always a winner in my mind.
So simple, so beautiful and so might just even win! I love this!
If you watch the live performance until the end…
Doesn’t it make you think of a modern day version of Emma from the UK in 1990…just sayin…
Performer: Boggie
Song title: Wars For Nothing
Song writer(s): Sára Hélène Bori
Song composer(s): Áron Sebestyén / Boglárka CsemerDo you know our earth is a mess
All the wars for nothing, it never ends
Everybody deserves a chance
All the souls, all the souls, can you hear them cry? That you live in peace does not mean
It’s okey to ignore all the pain
I see children joining the stars
Soldiers walk towards the dark, let me askCan you justify all the eyes
That will never see daylight
Give me one good reason to hurt
A helpless soul, break a heart, kill a mind.Do you know how many innocents
Are hiding from punishment
For crimes they’d never commit
All alone, all alone, do they deserveTo die for believing something else,
For having a face someone can’t stand
Do you know our earth is a mess
All the wars for nothing, it never ends
All the souls, all alone, hold them tight
All the souls, deserve a chance at life
Best of luck Boggie!
