I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“Day Tripper” by The Beatles was Number One on 18th November 1965 and stayed there for five weeks to be the Christmas number one of this year

Such a classic opening to any song. Not very festive but brilliant all the same!
