I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs. 

“Sunny Afternoon” by The Kinks was Number One on 9th July 1966 and stayed there for two weeks.

If you can’t imagine yourself sitting in the sun, beer in hand and not worrying about anything then this song does not work for you. Brilliant, chilled out song!
