I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.
“The Last Waltz” by Engelbert Humperdinck was Number One on 9th September 1967 and stayed there for five weeks.
I remember this always being played at the very end of any family function. Good old Engel!
