I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs. 

“Baby, Now That I’ve Found You” by The Foundations was Number One on 11th November 1967 and stayed there for three weeks.

This was the group’s first song and number one. Although the I do like it I was quite surprised to find out that one of their other songs, “Build Me Up, Buttercup” was never number one.
