Eurovision Song Contest 2017: Belarus – “Historyja Majho Zyccia” By Naviband

Belarus Eurovision 2017

Eurovision 2017 – Belarus

The Belarus song is called “Historyja Majho Zyccia” and performed by Naviband.

Naviband were chosen on January 20th during the national selection process. They won over 12 other contestants in a contest that had almost as many interval acts as performers! Naviband are an indie-pop duo formed in 2013 with main members Artem Lukyanenko (vocals, guitar) and Ksenia Zhuk (vocals, keyboards). This was their second time trying to make it to Eurovision.

From now on the girl here will forever be known to me as the ‘shaky tits’ lady.

The songs is in Belarusian, as are all their songs and this one translates as ‘Story Of my Life’

The song is quirky and catchy and instantly likeable. This is made even better by the energy and sense of fun shown by the two of them.

I really hope this qualifies as it will be a shame not to have it in the final. However, despite how much I like it I can’t see it troubling even the right hand side of the leader board.
