British group Leader have released their brand new single “Open Skies”.
by Christopher Smith
Leader are a five piece pop/rock act from Oxfordshire & Buckingham. They have shared stages with the likes of Wheatus, Turin Brakes, Babybird, The Lambrettas, Scouting For Girls, The Feeling, The Fratellis, Tom Jones, Razorlight, Lonely The Brave and most recently The Hoosiers.
“Open Skies” is about always looking and searching for something more. No matter where we end up, how happy or sad, rich or poor, we’re always wondering about if things had been different…what could have been… what is still to come.
In 2016 the band sold out headline their first headline show at Oxford’s O2 Academy, in support of their self titled EP. The band have spent 2017 working on their brand new live show as well as writing and playing some of the best up and coming festivals, like Truck Festival and Common People.
Spring 2018 saw the band tour the UK in support of their single “Golden”. With support from the likes of BBC Introducing, sponsors Hobgoblin Beer and exciting new partnerships emerging, the band is one to watch.
