FRESH: ‘FaultLine’ – Jeffrey Chan

‘FaultLine’ Ventures Into New Territories As Jeffrey Chan
Releases Sophomore Record

Jeffrey Chan has just released his sophomore record ‘FaultLine’ on August 31st 2018, available on all digital streaming platforms and online retailers.

Who Is Jeffrey Chan?

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, singer/songwriter Jeffrey Chan was first drawn to music at a young age when he began taking classical piano lessons. Though it wasn’t until later where he discovered his passion for singing and songwriting; where he began to incorporate his piano skills into his love of contemporary pop music.

Preceded by the release and success of ‘Porsche’ and ‘Breathe Heavy’ as the lead singles, ‘FaultLine’ is Jeffrey Chan’s long-awaited sophomore record and follow up to ‘Spectrum’. This upbeat album blends together elements of retro-pop, funk, dance, and electronica; with a nod to past musical influences and a drive towards the future.

Having worked on ‘FaultLine’ for almost two years (working in and collaborating with creatives in London, New York and Sydney), the album is diverse in it’s sounds, though Jeffrey remains front and centre; writing, recording, and producing
the album.

‘FaultLine’ is packed with catchy melodies and memorable lyrics, which is set against an electronic, synth-pop, guitar driven backdrop. Mastered by Julian Lowe (Sugababes, Cher, Robbie Williams), ‘FaultLine’ sees Jeffrey working together with a select group of creatives, such as New York based rapper Skam R’Tist on Porsche, in order to create the perfect follow up to his debut album ‘Spectrum’. With a video release set to accompany each of the 10 tracks on the album, ‘FaultLine’ is set to be Jeffrey’s best work to date.
