FRESH: ‘Let You Go’ – Alexander

Former boy band singer Alexander releases his debut single “Let You Go”.

Former boy band singer Alexander has released his debut single “Let You Go”, independently and with great confidence about the future for himself and his music.

The song is titled “Let You Go”. It’s in the Pop genre with an R&B feel. Alexander wrote this song with his incredible producer PALA, and actually wrote the track in about an hour! Lyrically it’s based on his longest relationship and how after breaking it off, knowing it was the right thing to do. Alexander tells us “I didn’t fully understand it until I saw her move with someone who was better for her than me. A hard reality to face”!

Alexander’s music background started when he was young. His parents filled my house with theatre and song. I was brought up singing in church and with my siblings and has a background in piano and guitar. Pop music has been the biggest music love of Alexander’s life. As he says “I’ve always been drawn to pop melodies and the way a simple chord progression and note combination can make you cry. I was in a boyband for four and a half years and have had a blast! But it’s time for me to do things solo”.

Alexander was raised in a small town in Northern Indiana. He began his music career at a young age and moved to Los Angeles in 2010 to attend school. He graduated in 2012 with a degree in Music Business and Vocal Performance. In 2012 he was part of a nationwide search to create an R&B/pop boy band. He was selected as the lead singer of the group and jumped right into recording, rehearsals and touring. Fast forward to 2018, Alexander decided it was time to put his energy into his solo project. He credits his confidence and experience to his time with the boyband and is eager to put what he’s learned into his solo work. With his debut single and music video now released, Alexander is ready to take on the music industry and show the world what he can do as a solo act.
