Electro-pop group XY&O have released their new single “Fever”!
Electro-pop three-piece group XY&O have unveiled their silky smooth new single “Fever” and it’s out now via Electric MVM.
Combining elements of chillwave and synth-pop soundscapes with an alternative R&B groove, “Fever” is another impressive offering from a band who continue to flourish with each and every release. A sensually atmospheric, brooding single, “Fever” fuses the dreamy, mellow vocals of Skip Curtis (vocals, rhythm guitar) with a pulsing, groovy beat, all brought together neatly by funky strummed guitar segments.
Initially started as a bedroom project at university, Tudor Davies (keyboard, percussion) invited Skip, an old friend from Cardiff, to write, record and eat their way through a musical collaboration. With fellow student Nick Kelly (guitar, bass) asked to join in, XY&O were born. The band set about writing their debut single “Low Tide”, gaining immediate popularity on Spotify gaining XY&O 35 million streams in the process.
Following the success of recent single “Shades Of You”, and a series of 3 festival live shows where they headlined venues at HUB Festival, SWN Festival & HoyFEST, XY&O are aiming to finish the year on a high note as they finish 2018 with yet another stunning track.
