The Cranberries release their final album “In The End” together with the lead single “All Over Now”
Following the death of lead singer Dolores O’Riordan a year ago at the age of 46, The Cranberries have released the first single “All Over Now” from their forthcoming final album “In The End”.
The track, together with ten others, form the final recordings of the group prior to O’Riordan’s shocking death on 15th January 2018, and is written and produced by the group themselves. Recording took place in late 2017 with the album originally due for release early in 2018.
The Cranberries formed in 1989 but only released their debut album “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?” in 1993 to critical acclaim. The album contained their version of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” which gave them their first chart hit, followed by the luscious and dreamy “Linger” which made No.8 in the US and No.14 in the UK. “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?” is certified double Platinum in the UK and 5x Platinum in the US.
They followed this with “No Need To Argue” (1994) which included the massive hit “Zombie”. The album is currently triple Platinum certified in the UK and 7x Platinum certified in America. The group has sold over forty million records globally to date.
“In The End” is released on 26th April on BMG Records
