Australian pop/electra artist Nina releases her brand new single “I Can Do Better”.
Australian singer Nina has just released her new single “I Can Do Better”, her first of 2019 and fifth overall since her debut “You” in 2017. “I Can Do Better” features her solid, strong and strident vocals against a groovy back beat in which she states her case and intentions with confidence.
Although Australian born, Nina (Baumer) currently resides in Boston, MA. With her down to earth charisma and engaging stage presence, Nina’s live set boasts of her passion for music and love for her audience. Resonating with her strong passion for self-confidence and being true to one’s self, Nina is mostly autobiographical when writing about her own experiences and emotions.
With brutally honest lyrics and a heartfelt message, Nina says: “I was scared to be on my own, try something new and put myself out there on my own. But since being on my own, I’ve truly discovered that I can do better. I had never said that or realized that I was proud of myself for ripping the band aid and being a women that does most things alone”.
Nina cites her influences among others as Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone, Tina Arena and Mariah Carey. And with an already impressive and expanding discography, there’s no reason why, very soon, she shouldn’t be joining her musical heroes as a world class performer herself.
