UK singer Clare Maguire releases the video for her brand new single “All Or Nothing Love”.
UK vocalist and songwriter Clare Maguire released “All Or Nothing Love” last month, her first new music since her 2016 album “Stranger Things Have Happened” and now she’s released the video in support of the single!
Clare comes from Solihull in England and made her debut in 2011 with the album “Light After Dark”, which reached No.7 in the UK and No.6 on the Scottish album chart’s, gaining a Silver certification for sales of over 60,000 copies. It featured the hit singles “The Shield And The Sword” and “The Last Dance”, which was heavily promoted by BBC Radio 1 and entered the UK singles chart at No.23!
Clare suffered for her art and her time promoting her debut album was not a happy one. After a period in rehab, Clare found solace in her two mini dachshund’s, Dilla and Lola and began writing again. She released a self-titled EP in 2014 which included a cover of Ella Fitzgerald’s “Black Coffee” and Joni Mitchell’s “The Last Time I Saw Richard” as well as two new compositions.
She released a second EP in 2015, “Don’t Mess Me Around” which featured four brand new tracks co-written and produced by Samuel Dixon, who has also worked with the likes of Adele, Sia, Paloma Faith and Kylie Minogue. At the same time writing and recording for her second full studio album was already underway and she returned in a blaze of glory in March 2016 with the outstanding and haunting single “Elizabeth Taylor” in which she stands up to her demons with lines like “I’ve loved, I’ve lost and loved again, but here I am, here I stand”.
“Stranger Things Have Happened” was released in May and included yet more striking tunes with “Swimming” and a further single “The Valley”. The same year Clare co-wrote and performed vocals on the single “How Love Begins” with DJ Fresh, High Contrast and Dizzee Rascal. The song reached No.53 in the UK.
