Former 80’s electro-pop artist Jeff McCall returns with “After The Peace”.
If you’re an 80’s electro-pop fan or groups like Human League, OMD, Erasure and Depeche Mode then you will rejoice the return of Jeff McCall with a brand new single “After The Peace”.
Jeff is the former lead singer of 80’s synth pop duo Malicieux Garde. He is literally a ‘one man electro pop band’ writing, recording and producing all his own work. Jeff creates catchy choruses on a dance beat lifted straight from the 1980’s. You could say he is leading his own addictive synth pop revival!
Whilst he has a general love of music across the board and very diverse listening tastes, when it comes to writing he always finds himself returning to his electronic pop music roots. “After The Peace” is Jeff’s first new music of 2019 and follows his single “We Learn” from last year and his debut solo album “Night Life” in 2017.
Jeff joined the synthpop band Malicieux Garde in 1983 at its formation as lead vocalist, and quickly developed as a songwriter. The band toured and performed for six years, gathering a small loyal following, released a recording on a compilation album and appeared on TV. After their demise, Jeff continued to perform using the name Real World, first as a solo artist and later with a backing band.
