This is US artist Nived and his debut single “Shame”, which he offers in two versions – a thumping, deep transient number and a ‘stripped’ version with just vocals and guitar.
Nived is both a singer and a songwriter, and with “Shame” his hauntingly clear vocals deliver a damning yet simple message: “girl I got no shame, I’m playing all your games”.
It’s hard to say which version is better. Whether you like something with trip and beat, or whether you prefer the acoustic mood of the ‘stripped’ version. You decide…
