This is New Hampshire singer Brian Walker’s amazing track “Call Me”.
Brian Walker is a pop/R&B singer-songwriter from East Kingston, NH, USA and “Call Me” is his second single release, following his debut “Conflicted” last year.
“Call Me” was a song Brian wrote early last year reflecting on one of his past relationships. He produced the beat, mixed it, and had the song mastered by Chris Gehringer (“Closer”, The Chainsmokers) of Sterling Sound in Edgewater, NJ, just outside of NYC.
Brian talks about the song in more detail: “There were several different versions of the pre-chorus and verses that continuously got changed over the past year, as I constantly tried to make the lyrics better, and make the song more digestible for the listener. The lyrics for this particular song were accurate to my personal experiences when I wrote it, so I feel a special connection to it.
I feel like the song really got to the heart of exactly what I was trying to say. The minor 7th chord progression I chose gave “Call Me” that nice dark R&B vibe that I tend to gravitate towards, and the bass in the chorus gave it the exciting payoff that I like. Play this song on some big speakers with a lot of bass and crank the volume, and you’ll have the room shaking in the chorus”!
In addition to “Call Me”, Brian has recently released the track “Forever, I Swear”, teaming up with singer Zenon. With three tracks now under his belt, 2019 is shaping up to be a very important year for Brian, who cites his influences, amongst others as Howie Day, Goo Goo Dolls, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, OneRepublic, Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, The Fray, Lifehouse, Benny Blanco, Skrillex, Max Martin, Eminem and James Blunt!
