Eden xo releases her debut EP “The Question”!
Acclaimed songwriter and emerging megastar Eden xo collaborates with Lana Del Ray, Bjork & Robyn teams as she finally steps into the spotlight as a solo artist with her debut EP “The Question”. The EP features taster tracks “Have It All”, “Sorry For Myself” and the first commercially promoted single “So Lucky”. The EP also includes a special reprise by DJ duo of 2019 Just Kiddin.
Pop-cultural-polymath Eden xo already boasts some of music’s biggest artists as past collaborators, writing for pop giants Kylie, Lil Jon, Pitbull, Ava Max, KYGO, Pet Shop Boys, Fred Falke and Armin Van Burren to name a few. She has also toured the world alongside Britney, Nicki Minaj, Steve Aoiki and the late Avicii. Following lauded taster tracks “Have It All” and “Sorry For Myself” this year, neither promoted or serviced to radio yet both were picked up by Beats1 and the BBC, Eden finally launches her debut EP “The Question” and a major single “So Lucky”, the extended video has already dropped, as well as a special remix by DJ duo of the year Just Kiddin.
“So Lucky” came to life as Eden was walking through Stockholm city centre with Bruce Springsteen on her headphones. ”When you listen to one of his songs it’s like looking at a sunset for the last time. I was thinking about how my life didn’t go the way I thought it was going to go when I was 16. But I also thought: I am so lucky, I’m in Stockholm, I’m listening to Springsteen, I’m in love, I make a living from writing songs: what do I have to complain about?”.
“So Lucky” and “The Question” EP are the culmination of a year’s work in London, LA and Stockholm with producers and co-writers responsible for work with Lana Del Rey, Sigala, Bjork, Jess Glynne and Madonna. It is the beginning of a furious oncoming storm of work from the artist, who already plans a second, darker EP. For now, however, “The Question” EP is the body of work Eden has dreamed of for some time, and finally showcases her capability and thrilling charisma as an artist in her own right.
